GETTfest 2027: Where education meets technology
GETTfest 2027 at Technopolis City of Athens, 27–28 February: 10,000+ expected visitors, education technology, workshops and official patronage.
GETTfest 2027 - Greek Educational Technology & Training Festival will take place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February 2027 at Technopolis City of Athens in Gazi. With 10,000+ visitors expected, the two-day event brings together education technology, talks, practical workshops and professional meetings. Admission is free for visitors, with registration required.
GETTfest 2027 is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the Region of Attica. It is organised by Europalso, the Panhellenic Association of Language School Owners and Teachers.
Artificial intelligence, digital platforms and new education tools are changing how we teach, learn and run educational institutions. For people working in education, the practical questions are which tools are useful, how to adopt them responsibly and what their implementation involves.
GETTfest creates a place to explore those questions through direct contact with technology, specialists and other professionals. Its aim is to become an annual meeting point for the education community, technology, innovation and professional development.
What you can experience at GETTfest
The event brings together four main activities:
- Exhibition area: Explore education tools, platforms, content, services and equipment. Watch live demonstrations, compare solutions and speak with the teams that develop them.
- Talks and discussions: Hear practical examples, research findings and different perspectives on the changes affecting education.
- Workshops: Explore tools and methods in participatory sessions focused on their application in teaching and training.
- Networking and B2B meetings: Meet educators, leaders of educational institutions, companies and potential partners. Share experience and explore opportunities for professional collaboration.
Visitors can combine time in the exhibition area with sessions that match their interests and needs. The detailed programme and participating companies will be announced in stages as speakers and activities are confirmed.
Topics and solutions for education
GETTfest covers six main topics:
- Artificial intelligence and learning: AI applications, with a focus on safe and responsible use in education.
- Digital tools, educational platforms and content: Learning management systems (LMS), applications and materials for creating, organising and supporting courses.
- Running an educational institution: Solutions for administration, communication, contact management (CRM) and day-to-day operations.
- Assessment, certification and skills development: Tools for monitoring progress, certification and the development of personal, digital and technical skills.
- Learning materials and interactive applications: Print and digital content that enriches the learning experience.
- Cloud infrastructure and security: Technologies that support the operation of educational institutions, connectivity and data protection.
The practical value of each solution is central. How does it help an educator? What does a school or training provider need to introduce it? Which needs does it address, and what support will the team require?
Who can take part?
GETTfest is designed for people and organisations that develop, choose, use or evaluate solutions for education:
- Educators and professional trainers looking for new teaching methods, tools and practices.
- Owners, directors and leaders of educational institutions who choose technologies, programmes and services for their organisations.
- Foreign Language Centres, tutoring centres and public or private schools looking to enrich their learning content and improve how their schools are managed.
- Training and lifelong learning providers that design adult education and professional development programmes.
- Universities, research teams and public institutions connecting knowledge and research with educational practice.
- EdTech companies, technology providers, publishers and certification organisations developing solutions for learning and training.
- Parents and students interested in developments in education and the possibilities offered by new tools.

Bring your questions. Leave with clearer choices.
Direct conversations with companies, educators and specialists give visitors access to new approaches intended to improve learning. Live demonstrations, detailed presentations of educational equipment and discussions can help you understand what could work in your classroom or institution.
Before your visit, choose two or three priorities. For any tool or service that interests you, consider:
- Which learning or operational need does it address?
- How does it fit with your existing methods and infrastructure?
- What does it cost, what is included and what support is available?
- What is needed to train your team and protect personal data?
- Can you run a pilot before introducing it more widely?
Talks and workshops will add practical examples and case studies. The goal is not to present one ready-made answer for every need, educator or organisation. It is to help each visitor identify the tools and approaches that best fit their priorities.
Useful notes and contacts can turn a visit into a clearer plan: a follow-up discussion, a product demonstration or a small pilot with your team. The value lies in understanding your options before deciding what to adopt.
Opportunities for exhibitors and sponsors
With 10,000+ visitors expected, GETTfest 2027 offers companies and institutions an opportunity to present products and services to a broad education audience. Exhibiting is relevant to EdTech companies, equipment and service providers, publishers, educational institutions and training providers. This two-day festival offers a platform to present your work to a broad audience.
A presence in the exhibition area allows for demonstrations, conversations about implementation and contact with people who evaluate or use a solution. Visit the exhibitor page for participation information and the exhibitor enquiry form.
Sponsorship opportunities offer visibility before, during and after the event. Sponsors will be featured on the GETTfest website, social channels and event communications, through dedicated signage at Technopolis City of Athens, association with selected themes and audience engagement activities. The exact benefits included in each partnership depend on the agreed package, availability and the sponsor’s objectives.
Explore the sponsorship options and use the relevant form to tell the team about your interests. The team will discuss available opportunities and agree the scope of the partnership with you.
Speaking and promotional presentations: choose the right form
The call for speakers invites proposals for talks, panel discussions and practical workshops with clear educational value. Educators, leaders of educational institutions, academics, researchers and technology specialists can propose a practical approach, a case study or research findings that will be useful to the education community.
A proposal should explain the topic, session format and benefit for the audience. Approaches that connect technology with teaching, assessment, skills development and the operation of educational institutions are particularly relevant.
For example, how can digital tools support learning while helping students develop social and emotional skills? A proposal grounded in classroom experience can give other educators practical ideas to explore.
Promotional presentations of an organisation, programme, product, service or solution use a separate submission process. Use the promotional presentation form rather than the speaker proposal form. Exhibitor and sponsorship enquiries also have their own forms.
